and operated. It is the creative idea of co-owner/partner Deb Watson. Deb is a commercial interior designer, NCIDQ certified and state registered, with her own firm (watsondesignmi.com). Although Ruby, the Watson dog, was the inspiration for the store, our cats wouldn’t forgive us if we forgot about the felines. Bark's features local artists, supports area pet ch arities, and promotes fun community events. Deb & Bob Watson, also, foster adoptable rescue dogs for a local pet rescue. They spend their days at the store meeting the public and their nights at the Watson home; over 200 foster dogs have been placed by the Watson’s.In 2006, one of those fosters, Bella became apermanent member of the family. She is now the store greeter.
